Following a workshop at the world-famous Apollo Theatre, Harlem, New York City in November 2023 and in his role as a producer of the musical-drama “I Dream” – based around the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. – AOB director Dej Mahoney negotiated and secured an in-concert production of the show to be staged as part of the bicentennial celebrations at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in upstate New York, late this year.
