Young Voices International:
As legal and strategic advisor to the organisers of the Guinness Book of Records-accredited, largest children’s choir concerts in the world (featuring choruses of up to 8,000 children per night), AOB’s directors became co-founding directors and equity partners in Young Voices International. Young Voices has now staged concerts in the U.K.’s most prominent arenas for over 20 years – including 7 concerts at London’s O2 Arena in 2018 – with over 1 million children having participated. Young Voices concerts have also been delivered overseas – in Germany, the Caribbean and the USA where five concerts took place in June 2018 with the strategic and financial backing of preeminent, global agency, WME.
AOB’s role in the Young Voices International operation has evolved to embody the Chief Commercial Officer position with key involvement in the company’s global expansion strategy, including the forging of commercial partnerships with prospective investors, promoters, agents and sponsors, developing YV’s activities and establishing affiliates worldwide.
20th Annual UK Tour
AOB client and co-venturer, Young Voices, completed its 20th annual UK tour, featuring nearly 150,000 children performing in the UK’s biggest arenas – including six nights at London’s O2 Arena and four nights in Manchester (renamed the “YV Arena” for one night to commemorate YV’s 20th anniversary), where X Factor winner and West End diva Alexandra Burke made a special appearance. Young Voices also completed its second year of concerts in the U.S.A. and Germany, with more international concerts to be added in 2017.
