In his role as a member of the Breaking GB Board, AOB Director Jonathan Dembo was part of the Breaking GB delegation, which attended the debut of Breaking as a sporting event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The competition took place in Paris’s iconic Place de la Concorde, where the standard of athleticism and dance was truly outstanding and at times, breathtaking. 

It was a privilege to witness this inaugural event, but sadly, some of its gloss was lost following the performance of one of the athletes, who became the principal talking point, thereby detracting from other stellar performances.
