25 years on from its original release, the No. 1 football anthem Three Lions was once again all over the airwaves, in pubs and homes up and down the country throughout the European Championships. All commercial terms for release of the original track were negotiated by AOB director, Jonathan Dembo, in his then role as Director of Business Affairs for Epic Records’ Managing Director, Rob Stringer (now Sony Music’s Global Chairman).
As Executive Producer for AOB, Jonathan went on to collaborate with talkSPORT and Gut Records to produce the single Come on England by 442. This track was released in June 2004 to coincide with the European Championships of that year and reached No. 2 in the UK singles chart.
